INTUITIVE EMAIL

Finally, you can interact with email the way you already think about it. Mail Pilot simplifies email with a task-oriented approach. From deleting an advertisement to remembering to pay your cell phone bill, all messages are action-based.

COMPLETE YOUR MESSAGES

When you’re done with a message, simply change its status from Incomplete to Complete, just like a to-do list. Gone are the days of tricking your email client by toggling “mark as unread”.

SET REMINDERS FOR MESSAGES

Set a reminder for a message and Mail Pilot will prompt you when it’s time to deal with it. Free your inbox of messages you can’t yet tackle and never miss a meeting, bill, delivery or due date again.

ORGANIZE YOUR WAY

Mail Pilot complements any workflow and empowers you to become better organized.

• Organize based on message status – as Incomplete, Complete or set for Reminder.
• Collect groups of related messages – across all of your accounts using Lists.
• Folders and labels – can be accessed and utilized anytime.

SET ASIDE MESSAGES FOR LATER

Easily achieve Inbox Zero — Set Aside messages that can’t be organized immediately and drill through them when you have more time.

SIMPLY COMPATIBLE WITH IMAP EMAIL ACCOUNTS*

Add all of your Google, iCloud, Yahoo!, Outlook.com, AOL, standard IMAP, or IMAP-enabled Exchange email accounts. Mail Pilot remains securely synchronized with your email servers and other clients. Mail Pilot is not compatible with POP accounts because they do not allow two-way synchronization.

SECURE & PRIVATE

Mail Pilot never stores, processes, or transmits your data through any third-party servers. All of your account information, passwords, personal data, and messages are securely stored on your device. All communication occurs directly between your device and your email server.

INSTANT NOTIFICATIONS

Get notified of new messages with fully-integrated system notifications as new messages are pushed to your Inbox.

ALIAS SUPPORT

Seamlessly send messages from an email address that you have forwarded to another account. Add signatures and customize the From Name for each of your aliases.

CONVERSE CLEARLY

View conversations intuitively with Nested Threading. Browse and filter long threads to find clarity and context. Add to the conversation quickly and naturally with in-line reply.

FIRST CLASS KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Every common action is an intuitive keystroke away. We designed keyboard shortcuts to be a headline feature and not an afterthought.

* Mail Pilot for Mac is compatible with standard IMAP accounts. It is not compatible with POP accounts or Exchange accounts without IMAP enabled. For security reasons, Mail Pilot for Mac does not allow SMTP accounts that do not support authentication. Mail Pilot requires that servers support some common IMAP extensions. Customer Reviews

Obvious deal-breakers make it a waste of time and money.

I had read a bunch of great reviews of Mail Pilot 2, including the podcast Mac Power Users, so I bought it for Mac and iOS. I like the shortcuts and marking messages as Completed, as well as parts of the interface. But two deal-breakers in the Mac version seem so obvious that I can't believe they were left out of the app or the reviews! I'm moving on to Airmail 2.
1) On the message pane, senders and recipients are shown in little circles (photos or initials) instead of text. I have to click on the tiny "i" to see who else received this message. Waste of time! But that's a really important feature.

2) You can't search your folders/boxes on more than one criteria. Example: searching for messages from Niki that contain the word "doc" wasn't possible.

And yes, I looked at the Preferences and support pages of the Mail Pilot web site thoroughly and multiple times. I feel like I wasted my money and time. On to Airmail 2.

Waste of Money

I was really hoping when I purhcased this app that it would be my solution to staying on top of emails. Turns out that I just dropped $20 on an app that does nothing but take up hard drive space. It crashes as soon as I try to launch it. If I do manage to get it to run it doesn’t work right. Emails weren’t getting moved to folders or trash on the server. Preferences would be lost after a couple crashes. I honestly don’t know why this app is still up here. To me it seems like a test to see how many people he could snooker into buying this then end up leaving them extremely disappointed and wanting their money back.

I Should Have Listened To The Reviews

I wanted this product to work. It’s the only product available that does what it does and has an iOS version. If the developers ever fix this software, it could be great.

Even after the so-called bug fixes of the latest update, getting both this program and the iOS version set up and funcitonal was an exercise in frustration… and the frustration did not end there.

I’ve experienced multiple crashes with Mail Pilot 2. The program crashes a lot.

Beyond that, the two versions do not sync properly. When I clear the Mail Pilot 2 inbox by assigning messages to reminders or lists, the reassigned messages still show up in the inbox of the iOS version.

I sent multiple requests for help to the developers. They have been unresponsive.

UPDATE: I heard from Mindsense after posting my initial review. They provided links for requesting refunds from the Mac and iOS app stores. They didn’t offer information on how to get either app to work properly.
